Draft orders are our way to apply automatic discounts without the need of discount codes.
Draft orders are created when customers accept at least 1 upsell offer and initiate checkout.
They appear in the "Drafts" section inside the Orders tab:
A draft order can have these possible statuses:
1) Completed
A draft order would be marked as completed if customers completed check out.
2) Open
A draft order would be marked as open if customers have not completed check out.
You should treat it as an abandoned cart, as customers did not pay for this order yet.
